Membership

Becoming a member

If you enjoy choral singing, we’d love you to come and try Exmouth Choral Society. We are a friendly, welcoming choir and there is no audition to join.

As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to sing a wide range of choral music, perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and be encouraged and inspired by our Musical Director, Matthew Jeffrey.

Come and Try Us

The best way to find out if we’re right for you is simply to come along to a few rehearsals. There’s no obligation to join straight away – meet the choir, enjoy the music and see what you think.

Rehearsals

Mondays, 7.30pm–9.15pm

Glenorchy United Reformed Church
Exeter Road
Exmouth
EX8 1PL

We encourage members to attend as regularly as possible but do not set a minimum attendance requirement.

Performances

We normally present two major concerts each year, in winter and spring, often performing with professional orchestras and soloists. We also take part in occasional carol concerts and other events and organise popular Come and Sing days.

Membership Fees

Annual membership: £120
Students: 50% reduction

Or pay by term:

£70 – Autumn Term / Winter Concert
£55 – Spring Term / Spring Concert

Membership fees include score hire. There is no need to pay when you first come along.

UK taxpayers can also support the Society by completing a Gift Aid Declaration, allowing us to claim Gift Aid at no extra cost to you.

Come and Sing With Us

Whether you’re an experienced singer or returning to choral singing after a break, you’ll receive a warm welcome.

Come along on a Monday evening, meet us and enjoy making great music together.
